"Man Day"

While the girls were out at Disney, the boys were also having some fun. They went on a 2.5 hour hike at a local nature preserve. They say the sticks were for fighting off mountain lions but i think they were playing star wars with them. Mark is still tired...

A Disney Day to Remember

On my 31st birthday, Lexy and I spent the day at Disneyland. It was perfect! We got to do all the girly things. To watch her experience it and take it all in was unforgetable. This couldn't have happened without Mark. He took the day off and had a "man day" with the boys. Thank you babe!

Grandma Ruth Bower Harmon

This picture was taken about 13 years ago. It's a 3 generation picture - my grandma, my mom and myself. Grandma went home to be with the Lord a couple of days ago. She would have been 95 years old in May. She moved to Brazil with her husband, Charles, 70 years ago as missionaries. After having 2 kids she contracted polio (which left her in crutches and later in life on a wheel chair) so they moved to the city of Aracatuba. There they planted churches and started a Bible Institute amongst other things. After a 10 year gap, they had 2 more kids. Grandma Ruth was a vibrant lady who had a great amount of courage and was a strong prayer warrior. She was a true woman of God. She is now in Heaven, healthy, walking and enjoying true worship of our Heavenly Father. I'm still trying to process it all. She 's in a place with no sadness or suffering and hopefully being able to fellowship with other believers, including her husband and my mom. She will be missed.

Tidepooling

The kids had fun exploring the tidepools at Swami Beach. The tide was super low. We found a ton of sea anemones, a sea cucumber, a star fish, a dead crab, tiny shrimp and a sea slug. The weather is still a little cold (60's), we can't wait for the summer, although spring time is super pretty!
