Camping

Well, I guess we can start calling our camping trip with our church friends as one of our family traditions. It is our second year going and we hope many more are to come. We were surrounded by great old friends and were able to make new friends. Cooking was easier for me this year, I got a little more creative and enjoyed it. The kids had fun riding their bikes, playing in a creek, hiking, camp fires, boot camp games, face painting and of course sleeping in a tent. They didn't seem to mind the 45 degree temp during the night. Overall it was a great campout and we can't wait to do it again.

Rusty

"A" has been begging us for a dog for a while now. Every money she earns, ragardless of where it comes from, b-day, her allowance and tooth fairy money is saved so she can buy a dog. We decided it would be a good idea to dog sit for a weekend. "B's" friend from school was out of town and let us keep Rusty as a test run. Of course, she loved every minute of it (except when it came time to pick up his poo, I got stuck with that job!). Now we are left to consider if we should get one. I'm not so sure it's the right time, we'll see what the future holds. For now, we'll have to enjoy our friends dogs.

Eggapalooza

Every year our church puts on Eggapalooza at Easter time as a reachout out to the community. Every year it gets better. We all had a great time and the weather was perfect!

"A" Lost her First Tooth

We couldn't believe it! A is only 4 and a half years old and lost her first tooth. The youngest of all 3 kids. She's pretty happy about it! They grow up fast, don't they?! She will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall.

TURF

The side yard is now ready for KIDS! Last week we had turf installed. The goal was to give the kids a little more room in the side yard, since the pool takes up most of the back yard.
