Celebrating B! 8 going on 13. Yikes!

We had a quiet and fun day celebrating Brandon.  He asked to have a family party, no friends this year. He opened gifts throughout the day and his favorite was the PSP. Saturday night we took him along with J and A to the Soar show at the Zoo. He's very into birds and that's what the show was all about. We ended the day with dinner at his favorite restaurant - Pei Wei. He said he likes Asian food more than American. He will be starting 3rd grade in the Fall. He enjoys playing basketball (favorite team is the Lakers),  playing the Wii and now his PSP. Loves tart ice cream and spicy food.

So Proud

This past week Jonathan received the Student of the Month award. Boy, was I ever proud of him! 

The certificate read: 

"I appreciate all of your hard work this year. You are always so polite to me and your classmates! 

Thank you for always being so helpful and kind. Your first grade teacher is lucky to have you!

What can I say...I love him so much.

Slip n Slide

This slip n slide was so much fun. They hit the pool afterwards. They like to lay down on the ground to warm up, Alexa ended up falling asleep. How cute is that?!
