My Two Girls

How cute are they?!
Ok, I'm a little partial.

Meet Maggie

She's a 10 week old English Springer Spaniel.  Her colors are liver and white with some freckles. It took a while to convince Mark that we were ready for a puppy but, he finally gave in. Tks babe! We surprised the kids monday night and of course, they love her. Below are some pics, I'll post more when I get a chance. She's a lot like having a baby, takes a lot of naps during the day, cries a little at night. I'm a little sleep deprived right now, she wakes up at 5 in the morning full of energy. I love how she keeps me company. They are sometimes classified as "velcro" dogs that like to stick to their owners.

She does this a lot.

Check out how big her paws are!  She will probably end up around 19 inches tall and about 40 lbs.
We wanted a mid size dog to withstand our lovely coyotes in the area.

Random pics

These pictures were taken while mom and dad were here during the kids spring break.

Playful wrestling at the beach.

I love this picture of Brandon and Alexa.

Tree climbing while the boys are skateboarding.

Parakeet Landing at the WAP.

 Gotta love that smile!

Dad and I at the WAP (Wild Animal Park).

Baby rattlesnake caught by our neighbor.

Double Peak Mountain for Sunset.  Tks for the memories mom and dad!

Are we too old for coloring eggs?????

Not sure how much longer will be doing this...they still seem to like it.

This same night, Alexa lost another tooth.  Six lost so far.

JT's tic tac toe egg.  This kid is so creative.

Student of the Month

This year all 3 kiddos got awarded Student of the Month for their classes. We are so proud of them! Man, this has been quite an exciting month. I can't believe our little girl will be in first grade in the Fall.

2011 Spring Ballet Recital

Ok, Seriously, can this little girl get any girlier?
She had so much fun, totally opposite of what I expected to happen. I thought she would totally freeze up and not want to do it. It was one of those memorable moments!  Good job Lex!

American Girl

Sherry, Alexa and I spent the day in LA. John kept the boys at home (thank you dad!).
We went to the American Girl Doll store, saw Mario Lopez taping Extra and caught a 2 hour bus tour of Hollywood and Beverly Hills.

Alexa's quote:  "I'm happier than happy!"

At the American Girl Cafe.

Skateboarding

The boys have been having a blast at this skatepark. Scooters and skateboards are allowed. There is a little bit for every level of skateboarding. The best part is that it is right next to a fire station and a police department, just in case of an emergency.  :-)

Dos Picos Camping

This has been our third year camping with our church friends. Mark unfortunately was out of town, his parents were able to come with us and spend most of the day (they went back home for the night). This year the creek was full which made it for an extra activity during the day and a wonderful sound to sleep to. The campfire is always a big hit - the boys tried lighting a match this year.
