Every year the Wild Animal Park has a Butterfly Jungle. We walked through it this year. Kids had a good time trying to get the butterflies to land on them.

My 34th Birthday
This year Mark was unable to be here for my birthday. He's been on a long business trip around the world. He made up for it by showering me with lots of gifts and surprised me with tulips - my favorite flower. Thanks Babe!
The Garland Family had us over for a birthday dinner and an "Oreo Game" (which I had no idea was coming). You start by putting an oreo cookie on your forehead. The object of the game is to get it in your mouth without using your hands.

School Awards
Today we celebrated Brandon, Jonathan and Alexa. All 3 of them were recognized for reading and math skills. Brandon was awarded the Student of the Week for his class.
Way to go Kiddos! We are so proud of them.

Carlsbad Lagoon
We have recently discovered the Carlsbad Lagoon. We were able to let Maggie off the leash and run free. We were there about 2 hours, we were all a little tired after that.
A little more Basketball
The boys had a great Basketball Season!
It was fun to cheer them on, they improved quite a bit and learned a lot.
It will be nice to have a break, 2 practices a week and 2 games a week is a little much.
