"J" turned 6

Wow! I can't believe J is six years old! Time has gone by fast. He is still as happy as can be, has a great attitude and is always up for anything. He's definitely the clown of the family and always puts a smile on my face. This year we had a family birthday party with a special cake made by my new friend and neighbor. He loved it! His grandparents were also here, making it an extra special day!

Spain in Sepia

Mark and I had a wonderful time in Spain. It was a much needed break from the day to day life with 3 small children. It was made possible by Mark's parents, John and Sherry. They bravely took care of the kids for 5 days. Below are some pics in sepia, I'll post more pics in color later.

Disney On Ice

L and I took the night off, picked up some friends and saw Disney On Ice. The show was perfect for her age. It's so much fun doing all the girly things!

Kris and I have been friends for 12 years. I feel very blessed! It was great visiting with her this past week.

Our Labor Day Accident...

After having a great relaxing and fun Labor Day weekend, around 4:30 on monday afternoon we were all in the pool. "B" was running towards the diving board and slipped and fell. He landed on his head and did a full body flip. Mark and I were both there and saw the whole thing. We left for the ER shortly after. "A" and "J" stayed with our neighbors. We came home about 3 hours later with 12 stitches on the forehead. "B" was very brave while he got stitched by a plastic surgeon. We are so thankful he is doing well, it could have been much worse. The stitches come off tomorrow morning.
