"B" - our oldest

We were at the park today enjoying the beautiful weather after all the rain we've had and caught Brandon hanging out on a tree. He has always loved climbing trees and we always encourage him to. He is just like his father in everything he does. He looks like his dad, talks like his dad and walks like his dad. He even has his same personality with the occasional sarcasm. He likes 2nd grade, has a great teacher and loves math! We look forward to what God has in store for him.

Culdesac Fun

These big silly balls have been keeping the kids so busy out on the culdesac. Check out the tumbleweed B is holding.

YMCA Basketball

Basketball season has started. We chose the "Y" because the boys were on the same age bracket. They've been having a good time. It's cool to see Mark be able to help them by sometimes coaching on the sidelines. They were also very happy to get new b-ball shoes.

My Little "L"

L has grown up so fast! She loves being a girly girl and can also hold her own around her brothers. She's definitely a leader and maybe a little bossy at times. :-) She's been using some big words like: necessary and interesting. Loves getting a mani and a pedi. She is without a doubt daddy's little girl and gets away with a lot. We love her so much!

Winter Vacation: Part Two

Part of day three was spent at the Goldfield Ghostown. J was the most intrigued by it. The highlights were: an out house with a manequin in it that scared us after we opened the door, a gun fight show and a little mining for gold.

The boys did a long hike up the mountain that you see behind the jail in the picture of the gun fight.

We ended the day eating dinner, for the first time with the kids, at the Rainforest Cafe. The boys were captivated by it. L, not so much.

The last picture is of dune buggies we saw on our way home, driving on I-8.

Winter Vacation: Part One

Ok, bare with me...there are a lot of pictures we want to share with you...
The first part of our trip we went to a snowplay area in Flagstaff. It snowed all day, we weren't ready for so much snow. They had a good time sledding. Driving, on the other hand was really challenging. The second day was spent at the Grand Canyon. It was breathtaking! We also played in the snow this day too. Their winter outfits were all borrowed from friends. They were kind of funny looking, but they could care less.

Christmas Highlights

On Christmas Eve we made gingerbread houses and went to church. They made the service geared to kids and also ended it with a candlelight. The kids, as always, could not wait until Christmas morning! All 3 of them still believe in santa. "J" stayed awake as long as he could, waiting and hoping to hear Santa on the roof. They had a great time opening their gifts and we enjoyed watching them take it all in!
